| Sirius Black (Padfoot) was the god-father of Harry Potter. Sirius Black was imprisoned in Azkaban for a number of years for the murder of Peter Pettigrew, which he did not commit. This status as a wanted criminal forced Sirius Black to live as a vagabond until his death. Sirus Black gave Harry Potter one of two magical mirrors. The mirrors were to act as a form of two-way communication between Harry Potter and Sirius Black. They never had a chance to use them. When Harry attempts to contact Sirus through his mirror after the death of Sirus Black, he shatters the mirror by throwing it in his school trunk. |
